When I look at the myriad of market and economic variables to assess the investment markets, there are always items that lean one way while others lean the other way. That’s why it’s easy to support either a bullish or bearish view of the market.
The funny thing about equity markets is that good information is sometimes reflected in stock prices as good information and the stocks take off. At other times, similar good information is perceived as bad information and the stock market tanks.
