I am a results driven manager with over 20 years of experience in the finance field. I have a proven track record as a financial manager developing and delivering innovative financial solutions to simplify and improve financial processes.

I am highly analytical and a creative thinker. Managing financial teams, I have both strategic and tactical experience. I excel at collaboration and can be depended upon to deliver new innovative financial solutions on time, under budget with outstanding quality.

In all of my positions, technology was always a key tool toward improving operations.  Many managers are unable to straddle the financial and IT worlds, but this is where I excel.

Some of my most significant accomplishments are:
- Reducing 80% of time and 90% of the errors in valuing 100B of securities for Deutsche Bank.
- Streamlining an insurance agency revenue accounting process to reduce time processing time by 90%, provide clear visibility into accounting, reduce errors using automation and provide analytics capabilities to CFO
- Building a financial reporting system for Rite Aid, a 18B company

My professional success is the result of my in-depth knowledge of accounting and finance, in conjunction with technology skills.  I passed the CPA and level II of the CFA.  My early career involved work as an internal consultant building database solutions for financial departments which served me well in leading financial and accounting operations.  Most organizations are constantly challenged with inefficient processes that gobble up precious time. Like a home, there is always something to fix!

Through my educational background and my CFA work, I have developed a wide understanding of statistical measures and techniques. These tools have been invaluable to many critical analyses and decisions.

I have experience in many positions in finance and accounting.  Early in my career, I worked on Wall Street building stock trading systems.   After graduate school, I placed GO bonds for the Commonwealth of PA. I ran the revenue accounting function for Rite Aid Corp (18B Rev) for several years.  At Comcast, I was the Director of Finance and Business Operations.  For four years, I consulted with the Secretary of Aging for Pennsylvania to develop financial strategies to provide long-term care services to residents.  I managed the implementation of a single and multi-family mortgage system for Mellon Bank and was responsible for all the US disclosures for financial reporting at Deutsche Bank.  Since Deutsche Bank, I have been consulting on my own.
