Good article about the irrationality of the market as of late.
When others are greedy, you should be fearful and when others are fearful, you should be greedy.
The market has been on a steady gentle climb for a long time! Are you complacent? Is most everyone thinking this "game" is easy money? Shouldn't you be fearful?
I recently saw the Dunkirk movie and these three guys got out of danger of being strafed on the beach by the German air force. They were in the hold of the ship off the coast eating jellied toast feeling as if they were safe. One of three, the smart one, was scanning the hold for a potential escape route in case their luck turned. When the ship was bombed, only a few escaped. The smart one escaped while many were trapped.
Have you positioned yourself for a smart exit or are you complacent eating jellied toast and feeling safe?
