I just finished Paul Allen's book Idea Man. For those who don't know who he is, he was Bill Gate's partner in starting Microsoft.
I found his many pursuits to be very interesting. While best known as the co-founder of Microsoft, he was a pioneer in space launches, the owner of NBA and NFL franchises, owner of one of the largest cable companies, and a musician. His interests are wide and deep.
As with any successful person, it is instructive to understand his failures as well as, his successes. His discussion about his failures and experiences was very informative.
It is always great to learn vicariously though those who have succeeded!
