Costco released earnings today and is looking good, really good.
Attached are four charts comparing Costco's quarter one year over year sales and net income since 2003. The trend is clearly "taking wings" in the current quarter.
- The first chart shows their trend in year over year quarter one percentage sales increases.
- The second chart shows the absolute dollar value of their sales for quarter one since 2003.
- The third chart shows their trend in year over year quarter one percentage net income increases.
- The final chart shows the absolute dollar value of their net income for quarter one since 2003.
The just reported first quarter demonstrates the high level of traction they are achieving. They are on the right track and booming ahead!
