The recent rise of the markets has led many to believe that the recession either didn't happen or is over.
I believe that we are only in the initial stages of a recession. Debt levels for both personal and corporate credits have expanded to unbelievable levels over the last ten years. Excessive debt is almost always a precursor of recessionary times and we are in the midst is one of the largest debt expansion periods of the last 100 years.
So, if you think the economy will avoid a recession, think again.
Be careful. The credit window always opens slowly, but when it ends, the window slams shut. And when the windows slams shut, everything comes to a screeching halt. It will affect us all. Don’t think you’re immune. That’s the beginning of disaster.
Be smart, be well read, be aware and be successful.
