I just ordered the book "A Short History of Nearly Everything". Like most books I order, it is older (2003), but the lessons are just as important.

As Buffett says, the best thing a successful investor can do is read, read, read. Both of his portfolio managers spend most of their days reading instead of being distracted by silly things that don't add to their management capabilities.
