It is a good time to be close to a safe harbor. The margin of safety concept is a safe harbor. While not perfect, it provides some protection from inclement financial storms.
This tariff thing is really destabilizing world markets. While the US may not be feeling as much pain as others yet, the pain could very well be severe – to everyone.
Have you heard of contagion? Contagion is when economic adversity spreads throughout the world markets. The world has become a much smaller place now that is highly interconnected by international trade.
One of these days, the fault line is going to severely slip and it will not be good for everyone!
