Kano is the founder of judo. I played judo for 40 years and the sport has made all the difference in my life. There is nothing like mono on mono to build character and fitness.
My coach, Charles Cavrich, drove us hard each practice to make us better players and people. Practices always began with with high intensity exercise for 30 to 40 minutes. Then, when you were tired, really tired, we practiced technique. You will find when you are tired, you have to rely on technique versus strength.
Are you better than yesterday?!
