This article in Barron's this week was spot on!
Trying to get more profits is great, but going too far to "maximize" returns can have a derogatory effect on businesses. The key, like many things in life, is balance.
Balance is not a fact. It is relative measure and it differs with everyone. But, we all know of situations that have gone too far with profit maximization. The results can be dire.
Be smart, be well-read, be self-aware and be successful!
