Jacksonville’s Jazz feast has always been the "bomb". It is three days of high quality, top-flight entertainment. Previous players have been Al Jareau, George Benson, George Duke, Natalie Cole, and many, many others.
The best thing is it is all FREE. Just bring your chair (and your drink)!
There are always bands at all three stages for two hour sessions. You constantly have 3 "concerts" to pick from. Each "Concert" alone would run you $50 plus, but this is free.
Last night it was Sheila E (drummer) of George Duke and Prince fame!
Tonight it is Trombone Shorty bringing the big brassy sound of New Orleans to town.
